Consultations on the first draft of Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014 – 2020

The first draft of the future Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014 – 2020 is available for public consultations. Contributions from all organisations and citizens interested in the future programme are welcome.

The comments or proposals may be sent to the following e-mail addresses:

The second meeting of the Joint Working Group for preparation of the new Programme took place in Nis

The second meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) for preparation of Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014-2020 took place on the 8th of May 2014 at Grand Hotel Nis in Nis, Serbia. The 2nd JWG was aimed at approving the Programme analysis made so far, as well as defining its strategic framework. During the meeting the main conclusions of the Situation & SWOT analysis have been presented, as well as the proposed Programme’s thematic concentration.

2nd Regional Consultative Forum for the preparation of Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014-2020

In regards to the preparation of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014-2020, the 2nd Regional Consultative Forum will take place on 23rd April 2014 in Nis and on 24th April 2014 in Sofia.

The first Regional Consultative Forum for the preparation of Bulgaria – Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme 2014 – 2020 brought together wide range of stakeholders who have expressed their opinion on the results of the situation and SWOT analysis in regards to the challenges and opportunities for cross-border cooperation between Bulgaria and Serbia and on the possible thematic prioritisation of the new bilateral programme.

The on-line survey (questionnaire) about the specific demands, intentions and expectations of the potential target groups towards the new programme was carried out between 3rd and 14th of February 2014.

Regional consultations for preparation of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA CBC programme 2014-2020

The preparation of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA CBC programme 2014-2020 has entered on its essential stage, where the views of stakeholders related to the specific cross-border needs and perspectives will contribute to the thematic concentration of the new programme. 

In this regards, wide public consultations will be organized between 5th and 14th of March 2014. The meetings will take the form of plenary discussions in each district of the cross-border area with the aim to:
